My w2 is a hard copy, how do I enter it?

My W2 is printed on paper, I can not download it.  How do I enter the information?

Import or Enter W-2 with TurboTax Online: To use the import feature, your employer needs to be a TurboTax Import Partner. We’ll determine this by the EIN (Employer Identification Number) you enter. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5723068

Import or Enter W-2 with TurboTax CD/Download:

1. Open your return.
2. Using the search feature in the upper right, search for "w-2" (lower case, with or without the dash) and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.
3. A W-2 screen will open. On this screen you can add, edit or delete a W-2 as necessary. Select Add or Edit.
4. Enter the 9-digit Employer ID Number from your W-2, and click Continue.
   
   • If your employer is a TurboTax partner, we will lead you through the steps to import your W-2.

Or you can manually enter your W-2:

If your employer is not a TurboTax partner, or if you're otherwise unable to import your W-2 or prefer to manually enter your W-2, you can do so:

• After following Steps 1-4 above, you will come to the W-2 screen where you can enter the info from your W-2 into the appropriate boxes.
  • You can also skip entering the Employer ID Number and proceed to manually enter your W-2 info.
