My taxes are simple. No frills, no nothing. Straight forward. My boyfriend & filed, minutes apart. He has been accepted. Nothing for me. Why??

My status still pending after 5 hours of filing, is this normal?

E-filed returns generally sit in Pending status for 24–48 hours before coming back as either Accepted or Rejected. Sometimes state returns stay in Pending for several days or even longer. Please see the Help Article here for more details about pending returns.
