A check will be issued and mailed to the address on your tax return.  That can take several weeks.   Watch your mailbox and open all mail even if it looks like junk mail.

If your tax refund was returned to the IRS by your bank, then the IRS will mail a check to the address on your tax return.  It usually take about three weeks, but it could be longer.  You can track the status of your refund on the IRS website.  Go to Where's My Refund

I'll mention another scenario--just in case.   If this doesn't apply to you, just ignore it.

The "sender" you mentioned may or may not be the IRS.   If you paid any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, then your deposit would have come from an intermediary bank, and not directly from the IRS.  And if that direct deposit failed at your bank, the deposit goes back to that intermediary bank that handles that payment option.   The third-party company is called SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group.)   That third-party bank/company then would send you a check in postal mail, less a service fee for the failed deposit.  Occasionally SBTPG would send it back to the IRS, who would then be the one to mail it to you.  So it's get more complicated if you used that payment option.
