My state taxes say "Enter your federal Tax Info" It asks for my amount, rest will go to my husband. What do I enter here, we file jointly? 2019 federal then divide?

It has an empty box with my name above it then federal total to the right with an amount under it.

You have to know what is being referred to for the number in the federal column. In other words, if the federal amount is the total of wages listed on your federal tax return, you would enter the amount of your wages.

It might be helpful to see the amounts listed on your federal tax return, which you can do while working in the online version of TurboTax by using these menu tabs:

1. Tools
2. Tax Tools (left side of the menu bar)
3. View Tax Summary
4. Preview my 1040 (left menu bar)
