My son is 16 years old and he filed a tax return and mistakenly did not indicate that he was a dependent.

How do I quickly un-file his return so that I can file my return before April 15th?

You will need to file a paper return, i.e. not e-file, claiming him as a dependent.

You son should file an amended return, selecting "someone one can claim me."  See below.
