"Has a good income " If your son and his wife filed a joint return and claimed their children you just have some "rent-free" tenants. No, you cannot claim them as your dependents. If you are dis-satisfied with the "paid nothing for living expenses, lodging, food or utilities." that is a whole different issue that is not a tax question. That is a family issue.
