I'm not sure: The name that appears on your income tax return should match what is on your Social Security Card or you Tax Identification Number card.
If the employer used your correct SSN or ITIN on the W-2, the way the employer typed your name is unlikely to matter to the IRS. The correct SSN or Tax ID is much more important. When you enter your name in MY INFO type your name in the way that matches your Social Security card.
