My mom lives with me and I support her financially completely since she doesn’t/hasn’t had a taxable job. Can I claim her as a dependent even though she won’t file taxes?

She won’t be filing because she has nothing to file for. Am I still able to claim her?

Yes, you can claim your mother as a dependent if you provided more than half of her support in 2022 and she had less than $4,400 of gross income. She does not have to file a tax return.
