I don't know why that would happen, but I'm not from Kentucky. I would suggest that you call the state agency and they will be able to check your return and tell you what, if anything, you need to do. Good luck to you.

I'm very familiar with Kentucky returns but not familiar with that specific code.  Double-check the state ID numbers for any documents you have entered that have withholdings (W2s, 1099-Rs, etc.).  If there is any Kentucky amounts listed, there should be a state ID number of exactly 6 digits.  If the number is more than 6, remove any extra zeros at the beginning of the number.  If it is less than 6, add zeros to make it a six-digit number.  If all else fails e-filing diagnostic, mail in the Kentucky return.  It may take a little longer but sometimes it's the only way to resolve it.

Or you could try customer service where someone can do a screenshare with you.  Please call in this experience to our phone customer support service by using the instructions in the following link: How do I contact TurboTax?

Thanks for the suggestions.

The error code referenced 1099-DIV errors and zero values. I went through all my 1099-DIVs and removed any $0.00 value with just a $ (null) value. Then I resubmitted.

That may have been the trick. It didn’t auto reject my e-File like it was doing  before. It is submitted pending acceptance. It is estimating acceptance on Monday the 18th, presumably because of the Good Friday holiday. Crossing fingers it works, else will be mailing at the last minute.

I'm glad you were able to self-diagnose, and likely will not have any issues.  But since you were able to submit it, even if it does reject (and it likely will not), you will have a few days to correct it and resubmit.  It will not be considered late.  So you can relax and just verify that it gets accepted or not, and if not, correct whatever it may be (or mail it in), and it will not be considered late.
