My IL return got rejected because I am filing with my SSN this year. Till last year I filed with my ITIN. I dont have driver's license/ State ID. Should I mail my return?

E filing my IL return with SSN for the first time. Federal got accepted. IL got rejected. Error says prior year AGI does not match IL production file. I think this is because until last year I used my ITIN for filing federal and state. Should I mail my returns to IL state. Please advise.

If you are going to mail your return, why use Turbotax?  The bait and switch Turbotax depends on for their bread and butter is the promise of e-filing.  I want Turbotax to fix my state return so that their glitch does not prevent it from being accepted by Illinois.  So, your rejected  might be, could be because of a Turbotax glitch with SSNs or not.  Could be or even might be the numerous other new 2021 glitches for your 2020 Return Enjoyment.  Oh, including your name.  Yes, even if you have the same name as you did last year!  Also be aware that if you input the actual Turbotax reject code into Turbotax help here, you'll often find it supposedly SOLVED!  But you'll find out whether Turbotax has solved it or not.  I'm only on my third rejection, but some of my neighbors are far outdoing me in terms of Turbotax rejections as of the end of February folks, 2021.  April 15th fast approacheth!
