My husbands w2 for washington state doesnt say in box 15 the employer id number

He is Military if that helps, but on his W2 it is blank. it just says WA for the state but gives me no ID

That is because the state of Washington doesn't have a state tax and therefore there are no state IDs issued.  If you are having issues submitting your return because of this all you have to do is delete the "WA" from box 15 and leave all the state boxes blank.
