My friend and I filed on the same day and mine was done 1st, why was his approved by the IRS before mine. They both got received the same time. I don't understand.

Only the IRS knows why some tax returns are accepted or processed faster than others. They aren't handled strictly in the order received. It may depend on what's in the tax return. TurboTax has no control over the IRS processing, and no information about why some tax returns take longer than others to be accepted or processed.
