My federal tax return was accepted. However, when I try to file my state tax return, under Schedule INC W-2 and 1099 Information, it states I cannot e-file. Why is this?

Please clarify:

What state’s return are you trying to file?

Were you able to input any information at all for your state return?

Had you completed entering your state information when you got the message?

I am filing in Massachusetts.

All my forms are completely filled out and ready to file.

Most forms for MA are not available to file until today or after today depending on credit and deductions taken. Check this link for Form Availability.
