The IRS requires your 2018 AGI to verify your identity for e-filing. If you're paper-filing your return, you won't need your AGI because those are manually processed.
There are a few places you can get your 2018 AGI:
If you filed a joint tax return in 2018, your AGI and your spouse's AGI is the same number.
You won't find your AGI on your W-2 or 1099 form because those forms don't take into account over a dozen above-the-line deductions that go into calculating your AGI.
If you didn't file a 2018 federal tax return (or you haven't filed one yet), enter 0 as your AGI.
I filed with Turbo Tax for 2018 and checked the AGI number to make sure it is correct and am still getting a message saying the federal tax return has been rejected.

If your tax return continues to be rejected with the 2018 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the AGI and e-file again.
If this is also rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for printing a tax return for mailing - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/printing/help/how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online...

Also, if you filed the 2018 tax return as Married Filing Jointly then the 2018 AGI is the same for both of you.
