My federal return dropped by 1500 after I had it at 4100 and some odd dollars. what option can I hit to get it back or would it go back up after I put ssn on the list???

You need to enter your Social Security number to get your personal exemption of $4,050, this would reduce your taxable income by that amount.  Your refund is calculated with every entry of income, deductions, and credits, so don't be alarmed at the fluctuation.

You just need to keep going through the screens to get the final calculated amount.
