My 60 days was up May 3. Filed on Feb. 2. Still no update on the wmr site.

My 60 were up may 3. Checked wmr everyday. Got tired of waiting. I called and got a TA. She said one income wasn't reported on my taxes

And that my advocate should call me back on Wednesday with more info. So it's still a waiting game with me.

I was audited for claiming the eitc this year. Received a letter in the mail March 6th saying they received the documents I sent them as proof to the credit I was claiming and to expect a response from them by July 14th. Not sure why the long wait when on there website it states eitc audits only take 30 days to review and its been exactly 60 days as of yesterday since I sent in my supporting documents. Is anyone in the thread being audited and received their refund before the date stated on the letter? I'm hoping my status bar will change some time this week. Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

Actually, the website says it takes at least 30 days Often it is longer, because it lands on an overworked IRS employee's desk.

We filed Jan 25th got no letter called they said March 5th we started in the review process, waited the 45 days called in they did they have 60 days to respond, Saturday was our 60th day called today they said no pop up 60th day is the 11th now but they can ask for 60 more days with would make us wait till 7/2/18. So sad cause we lost our home have a new place but can only pay the rent and can't get our stuff out of storage cause we have to pay it up and its 509.00 we are going to lose all of our things and our children's things. Not to mention we have a 4th child on the way due in August. Ready to just give up pull the trigger and be done. (Heartbroken)

I was told by a phone rep my audit would complete in 30-45 days. Then I get a letter in the mail saying its going to take them till July! Just wondering if anyone else has undergone an audit and received their refund before the date they said they would finish. I've waited patiently for two months now, but I don't think I could handle another two :(

Talk to my advocate today she said I should expect a refund in the next 2 to 3 weeks or up to June 29. I don't have to send any more info. She said she will call me back on June 1st to see if i got my refund. Its just a waiting game. I never went through this before. I'm tired of waiting.

For 2018, consider changing your withholding so that you do not have to wait for a refund at tax time.
