Purchased TurboTax Deluxe 2019. Works fine on my account, but my daughter gets an error. This has worked in previous years (2018 and prior) to run on her account, but this year I am getting this error... showing setup progress in window called "2019 WinPerReleasedEngine", then gives this error screen: "Problem with Shortcut. Fatal error during installation." What is the problem to allow a second (or more) user on the same computer from being able to run TurboTax 2019?

(I'm just another user...experienced with over 20 years using TTX, but System things may be beyond me....so the following are just my generic guesses)
1) You could let her use your user system login as a last resort...but other than that:

2) Each User must have full "Administrator" privileges set up for them. Any directory they save their file to, must also have full read-write access for all users on your computer.

3) try this with the TTX Startup icon:
.......TTX should only be installed and run as an Administrator.....not in some guest account without administrator privileges...but it's hard to know each person's exact setup.
But even if you did that already, there is an internal setting that sometimes needs to be implemented also.
So...Save your tax file and Exit TurboTax....then:
1) right click TurboTax 2019 icon
2) Select … Properties
3) Select the Compatibility tab
4) In the "Settings" box … check the box to "Run this program as an administrator"
5) Apply...OK...then restart the program and try again

Thank you! I believe you "hit the nail on the head". I have changed the settings as suggested. Daughters account is set to Administrator, and from my account, Compatibility tab selection set "Run this program as an administrator". I go to my daughters account, it still will not run, and when I checked, there is NO Compatibility tab when on her account. As I mentioned TurboTax 2018 runs fine, and when I checked for it, there IS a Compatibility tab for that. So it appears that Intuit removed, or neglected to add that functionality for 2019.
I appreciate your time to answer, and hope it helps others as well.
