married fileing jointly, spouse and I each received 1099-int from same bank. Turbotax won't allow me to enter another form from the institution (different ss#'s). help says to enter each one seperatly. Do I combine these 2 amounts or??

If you have set up your joint return correctly, then every income entry screen will give you a spot to enter income under the correct spouse's name. When you go to the screen for the 1099INT do you not see a spot for your spouse?
Well, I did figure this out. Once I entered one of the 1099s from the bank, I needed to then push the 'add Investments' and reenter the bank's name. I don't recall having to do that before. Only been using Turbotax since 2004 :-).
Yes it is different this year at least in my Desktop program.
I don't like how to enter Interest, Dividends, Sales etc. Too many clicks and screens to click on and go through. There is no table on the screen (except in Forms) and you have to click though several screens to add more. And after I manually entered 3 interest it didn't ask if I wanted it to stop asking to import. Oh and Interest, Dividends and Sales are listed in the same list on the screen alphabetically. If I go to Interest I only want to see Interest!
So go to the bottom and click on +Add Investments
Then import or skip import
THEN....should be a screen with 5 boxes, Interest, Dividends, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Cryptocurrency and Other.
If you transferred from last year you get to a list of all your 1099s. To enter the amount click on Review which takes you to the beginning screen to import your tax info or go to the bottom and Skip Import. Then you get the screen with 5 boxes. Pick the kind of 1099 and Continue. Then that 1099 will show up.
Thanks. Kinda figured this out as well. Just getting started on this years stuff and ran into this situation on the 1st 2 documents I grabbed. (I don't import). Hope I don't run into more 'new and improved' stuff like this.
