Moved from one state to another

After moving from IL to NC how so you report state tax amounts for 1099 R and pension payments? Do you apportion the amounts between the states based on when you moved or report all the income in NC?

Moved from one state to another

Yes, your retirement income will be apportioned between the two states. Since you moved during the year, you will enter the dates that you lived in each state during 2019. Then, the program will allocate the amount of tax due to each state. Please view the FAQ on income allocation.
