Moved from Florida to Georgia

Moved from Florida to Georgia in August. My wife and I worked in Florida but not in Georgia. I have income from social security and a government pension. Question is any of the income from employment in Florida taxable in Georgia.

Moved from Florida to Georgia

Hello george97,

Thanks for joining us!

If you worked in Florida before moving to Georgia, that income is not taxable at the state level, since FL does not have any State Income Taxes.  Any Social Security, Pension, and/or investment income will be allocated according to the time lived in each state.  Any amounts earned or received during your stay in GA will be taxed in GA.
