Mine is W-2 , but my wife has 1099 - Micsc . We want to file together, please help me to choose the right edition.

If your wife has a 1099 Misc received from work as an independent contractor you will need to use TurboTax Self-Employed Online or TurboTax Home and Business Download/Desktop version.

This will allow her to enter her business income and expenses and covers your W2 as well.

Also, how do I file jointly. means i need to buy Deluxe for me and Self-Employed edition for my wife. then how can I do jointly if I buy then separately
