Messed up tax write offs can't get back

You can review any of your entries by logging in, clicking the orange button "Take me to my return" and then clicking on the tabs: Federal Taxes or Personal, then Deductions & Credits. For your self-employed tax write-offs you need to Edit the self-employed business, then you'll come to a summary screen where you can select to enter all income, expenses, and assets & depreciation.

  1. Log in and click Take me to my return
  2. Click Federal Taxes and then Income & Expenses (If you have the blue button 'Check for more income', click it and then click 'Skip to see all income')
  3. Next scroll down to Self-Employment and click Show more
  4. Click Start/Revisit next Income & Expenses
  5. Since you've already entered self-employed work, you'll be at a summary screen of the businesses you've entered. Select to Edit the applicable business.
  6. You'll come to a screen that says Your XYZ Info and on this screen is where you'll select to Edit your expenses.

At step #2, if you do not have a Federal Taxes tab then instead click the Business tab > Continue > choose I'll choose what I work on > Start/Revisit next to Business Income & Expenses > at Self-employed summary screen select to Edit the business
