I cannot seem to add my medical expenses

Medical Expense deduction :

You need to open Schedule A.

You can enter your medical expenses.

If you use Schedule A you need to itemize all your other tax, donations and other expenses instead of taking standard deduction. There is a significant limitation on taking medical deductions, it depends on your income

(a fraction of your gross income).
