Medicaid

My son was on Medicaid for the entire year of 2022.  His return was rejected because we didn't enter anything for 1095a (which he didn't receive).  So I answered the question no that he didn't receive 1095a and it got rejected again saying the IRS information says he had ACA coverage and had an advance or whatever it's called.  How do I get past this issue and get his return approved by the IRS?

Thanks!

First contact the Marketplace call center to verify records.  Click here for the contact information.  Once verified that there is not an Affordable Care Act policy you will need to delete any forms 8962 and 1095A. Use the "Delete a form" function as outlined below.  If the rejection persist you may need to print/mail your return.

1. Select "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "Delete a Form"
4. Find the form 1095A and form 8962
5. "Delete"
6. "Confirm Deletion"
