I want to change to filing married together.

Since your return was rejected, you can change your martial status.  Click on Personal Info to change your status.  Once you change to Married Filing Joint you will need to add your spouse's information.

Why was it rejected?  Did your spouse already file?

No he did not file yet. My daughter claimed she paid bills and we need to amend it.

What about your daughter?  Did she file her own return and claim herself or claim you?

If your return Rejected because she already filed then you will have to mail your return this year and she might have to amend hers.  You don't have to wait for her to amend.

Will she lose the money she got?

Maybe.  How did she file?  Did she claim herself or you?  Does she qualify as your dependent?
