I tried to use What If worksheet but it doesn't split wages for me and spouse. As per IRS 555 publication wages are considered community income, any idea why individual wages in Turbo Tax are considered separate?

The What-If Worksheet just does not handle every possible tax situation automatically. You can manually change the wages amounts on the worksheet.
