Mac Sonoma 14 TT home and business installed can't search for files

I keep getting this error when trying to access last year file to import.

the error message

says "The open file operation failed"

"The open file operation failed to connect to the open and save panel service"

I have already contacted support no help there

I have already went through the total remove steps, emptied trash, and restarted mac

downloaded software, re-installed turbo tax software and completed activation.

still get the same error message.

I don't have this issue with other software when looking for files.

what should the turbo tax software version be to work with Sonoma 14.2.1?
