Lot of changes in 2021

How do I declare my taxes now, that I got married and just had a child on Dec 2021 ? Does it count as a dependent ? Also, my husband was a dependent until we got Married and started working, can we file together ? Even though his parents will

Yes, your child will be your dependent in year 2021. make sure when you record your child's information in the My Info section  that your child lived with you for the entire year so can claim the child tax credit and the Earned Income Credit, if you qualify for this credit.

Also you may file jointly but there is a question in the My info section that asks  Someone else can claim my spouse as a dependent on their tax return. Here you must check the box that he can be claimed as a dependent of someone else.
