PLEASE HELP! I cannot get passed the log in screen after entering the CORRECT credentials for the USER NAME and PASSWORD. I even generated 6 different text message verification codes. Once it enters it spins back around to confirm I am logging in under the Username stated and requests my password. The loop continues and continues.

When logging into TurboTax, be sure you are using the same credentials that you used in prior years.  See how can I view all of my TurboTax accounts to verify your login credentials.  If you are encountering issues when trying to access your information, use these steps to change your TurboTax ID or password.  This will allow you to recover your account and log in.

 

Once you have confirmed your login credentials, enter them on your TurboTax Login page.


If you are still having issues logging in after confirming your credentials, try clearing your cache in your browser.  Then, close your browser, reopen it, and sign back in with your TurboTax Login.

Empty your browser Internet cache and delete any Intuit cookies.

Close the browser and reopen it.

Then try again.

If problem recurs, empty the cache and cookies again. Close and reopen browser, but this time open a private browsing window (or may be called Incognito Mode on some browsers).

If problem recurs in a private window, try using a different browser.

After logging in, TurboTax insisted I lived in Georgia. There was no button to return to finish my taxes. There was a question box, So I entered a login and clicked the button. This began I never ending cycle that brought me back to the same page. I finally had to pull the plug online computer..

Hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern) Monday-Friday.

By "not letting me", are you saying the security code you are phoned is not working and loops you back to the log-in process? 

 

First try this:

Clear your browser Internet cache and delete any Intuit-related cookies.

Close the browser and reopen it.

This time use a private window (aka "incognito mode", "private browsing", etc.)

Try to log in again.

 

If  problem persists, see if using a different browser makes any difference.

 

If neither of the above helped, try to gain account access using one of the two methods below.   If you still can't get in after that, I've also left info below on how you can phone TurboTax Support for assistance.

 

To get a list of your User IDs and recover account access, reset passwords, etc.,  you can use the Account Recovery tool at the link below.  Try using your phone number first, since that's the easiest way for the tool to look you up.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.

NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that tool on your phone number and email address(es),  here's another method:

Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.

 

Or  you can  phone TurboTax Customer Support and speak to an agent in realtime so they can troubleshoot with you.

Every year I have the exact same problem  It tells me that my login is invalid, so I try to set up a new password, although I am positive that my old password is valid.  Then when I try to set up the new password the system becomes unresponsive and tells me that something went wrong and try again later.  This has happened for the last two years. 

This year I figured your system was unloaded so I waited to Sunday morning and succeeded.
