Less Common Income

I'm using Home and Business on a Mac. I need to DELETE Less Common Income>Misc. Income, 1099-A. I've asked my question but get very mis-directed or non-specific responses. Is there anyone who can give me an exact answer how to remove the numbers please?

It would be helpful to know where the income is located on IRS Form 1040.  Line 1?  Line 8?  Or somewhere else?  Please clarify.

The choices under Less Common Income would display a message if you have entered those selections.  Concentrate on the variations under those selections to find the income.
