Last year TurboTax software created two output file files, "My Name 22. tax2022" and "Tax Return.tax2022". Which will be accessed when I begin filing my 2023 taxes?

I've been using TurboTax since 1998 and this never happened before. At a certain point the software 'forced' me to save a file. No idea why. "Tax Return", 938KB, was created on 3/3/2023. "My Name 22", 4.3 MB, was created on 3/13/2023. I'm afraid TurboTax 2023 will access the wrong file. In earlier years only "My Name YY" was created. Should I delete "Tax Return"?

You should really open the two files separately and compare them. It should be obvious as to which one you actually filed.

Regardless, 938KB is fairly small for a TurboTax individual .tax file.

Are you using the Desktop program for 2023?  When you start a return it should see both files and ask which one to transfer from.   Pick one.  If it doesn't have the right info you can start over with another new return and transfer from the other one, go up to File-New.
