I filed last year using a downloaded version of TurboTax. This year I purchased the CD and the program cannot find last year's return. Where is it stored?

If you used the CD/download last year your tax file is stored on your own hard drive. Are you using the same computer? Your 2020 software should help you find it---when you start a new return tell the software to look for it on your computer.

The 2020 Turbotax program was unable to find my 2019 tax return. Because of that fact, I attempted to guess at my wife Sharon's pin number and got it wrong and my 2020 return was rejected. I have no way to retrieve the pin number. What do I do next?

IDENTITY PIN
Per the IRS:
Taxpayers who previously have been issued an Identity Protection PIN but lost it, must use the Get an IP PIN tool to retrieve their numbers. Taxpayers who have an IP PIN need to provide it when they file their return.
Where do I find my AGI?
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/how-do-i-find-last-year-s-agi/01/25947
Your 2019 tax return shows your 2019 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.
Form 1040 line 8b
If you are using the same TT account that you used last year, you should also be able to find this number in your Tax Home for 2019
If entering the amount from your 2019 tax return does not work, then try entering “0” instead. If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
You can get a free transcript of your past return from the IRS:

Note: If you filed late or amended your return, your correct 2019 AGI may not be in the system.
