Just got started on my return and entered my own first name instead of my wife's. Now my returns say my name twice instead of both our names. How can I correct it?

It doesn't seem to want me to back up or correct it.

Click on My Info o the left and edit the names.

while filling out our return for 2021 on turbo tax, i inadvertently put several items under my name when they should have been under my wife's name. i've not filed the return but can't figure out how to get back into the items to make the required changes on them. when i tried to simply replace my name with hers on those files turbo tax didn't cooperate. How can I correct this without deleting everything and starting over? thanks for your help!

You can revisit the section you need to edit.

1. Log into your online Turbo Tax account.
2. Then click on "Federal" or "State", on the left side.
3. Then you will look near the top to navigate to the specific category you would like to revisit and edit.
4.  Then look for the specific section you would like to edit and select the "edit" button.

If that doesn't' work for you, you can  Delete a form  and re enter the information to generate a new form with the correct information.
