Joint filing questions

I separated from my now ex husband in Oct 2020, divorce was final in Jan 2021.  We filed a joint return in Febr 2021( i gave him copies of my w2's) he did the filing online through TurboTax.  Unknown to me, he changed direct deposit to his solo account, received the refund and kept all of it.  The dependants we filed on the tax return are my two children, not his.  Can he legally keep the refund from me?

Joint filing questions

That is a question you need to discuss with your attorney.

I don't currently have an attorney.  We did a no contest divorce, no splitting of property.  I am a single parent so hiring an attorney is difficult and I only want to do it if I have legal standing.
