Ive lived abroad for the past 1.5 years and have earned around 3,000 doing freelance work, how do i file or what do i file?
I have lived over seas since nov 2017 and i dont know if i need to file taxes or not. I do some freelance writing and have earned $3126 USD since may 1st 2018.

If you are a US citizen or resident, you would enter this amount under "Foreign income". You might be able to apply the exclusion to your income but the self-employment tax will not be excluded. See Foreign
