ITIN

ALSO the itin number that was assigned to me turbo tax says it may be expired but I called the irs and they said it is still active, what should I do in that case?

Ignore the TurboTax message and Continue.  The ITIN has not expired but the program thinks it has based on the two middle numbers of the ITIN.
