Is there any way to approximate if I’m gonna pay in this year?

I usually pay in taxes every year but I was out of work due to a knee surgery for 11 weeks so anyway to approximate if I’ll actually get a tax return this year?

If you usually end up paying you should have more taxes taken out of your paychecks. Give your employer a new W4. Are you married and both work? When I worked i put Single on my W4 to have more taken out.
