Is there a problem with filing state taxes? I can’t get past step one of the filing.

I have been trying since yesterday.  I was unable to file and now have missed the filing deadline. Will TurboTax pay my penalties?!?!?  It’s your problematic program.

1)  Federal must have been filed , either at the same time as the State was sent...or,,,sounds like you are doing separates submisssions...so the Federal e-file must have been accepted before you can e-file the state.

2) if it won't go...I'd recommend logging off and going to a full Windows or MAC computer and attempt to file from there.

And if it's the software payment step....I suspect that will be fixed sometime today....since the problem just started last night.   (But that's just a guess)
