Is it better to edit a K-1 for my 1040 or delete and replace it? I saw that editing a K-1 may result in hidden carryover errors.

I found a minor error in my 1120-S that I corrected and submitted an amended return. I now need to update my 1040 and want to avoid any additional errors.
