Is IP Pin Needed to File 20

I decided to opt-in earlier and my PIN is unchanged.

Retireve your IP PIN won't take you directly to your IP PIN.

The IP PIN is now hidden under Your Profile.

Did you do this on a desktop or your mobile device? I dont see the option to opt out on my phone.

You can't opt out of an IP Pin. Once you get one, you will need to use it every year.

The IP Pin will change each and every year. This is an Identity Protection Pin.  

You can get an Identity Protection pin here, or if you lost your IP PIN, you can go here to Retrieve IP PIN.

A23. Yes, if you voluntarily joined the IP PIN program and have not been a victim of tax-related identity theft, then you may opt-out of the IP PIN program. To find out if you are eligible to opt-out, please log into your online account. If you enrolled into the program though the one-time enrollment option, you will be opted out of the program at the end of the calendar year.
