Is IA 1040 line 7 copied from worksheet correctly? Worksheet calculates IA 1040 line 7 correct. Why isn't it copied to 1040 line 7 correctly?

The value on my Iowa 1040 line 7 is completely wrong.  The schedule 1 line 7 worksheet IS correct.

By "line 7" you mean "total tax" that is the sum of line 5 and 6 on the IA 1040?

I think I figured this out.  The 1040 line 7 is all adjustments, not just retirement income.  I over paid federal in 2022 and that was subtracted from retirement income.  The forms I printed to PDF didn't show this unless I printed all worksheets.  All is well.   Can't help but add:  I wish this product would show why things are how they are instead of showing IRS rules.  It's impossible to plan for next year with this product or IRS rules.
