Is deadline to file for an automatic extension in South Carolina extended to May 1, 2025?

I live in South Carolina and the deadline to file is May 1. However, I'm having problems and want to know if I can still apply for an automatic extension to October 15? Was that deadline also extended to May 1 or was it April 15?

Yes, the extension deadline was also extended to May 1.   You can still file an extension, however, you will need to print and mail the extension as the deadline to e-file it was April 15th.
