Is anyone else currently having connection issues with the "Free Edition"? I'm receiving a message stating that I should check my internet or try again in a few minutes.

My internet is fine. Obviously, otherwise this post wouldn't work.  And I've waited / refreshed hours later to receive the same message.  Is there a known outage / issue and when will it be back up?

We're not aware of any issues. Try deleting your cookies, clearing your cache and rebooting. If that doesn't work, use a different web browser. See the following:

Thanks for the reply!  I tried clearing browser cache and cookies and using different browsers (Firefox and Edge) but I'm still getting the message below at random:

Let’s get you back to your taxes. Make sure your Internet is connected, and then select Try again or check back in a few minutes.

 

Judging by all the loading screens / slow menu responses as well I think you guys might be having issues on the server side.  Right now I'm consistently getting hung up entering "My Info" for dependents.  I was able to enter income and deductions slowly.

We are at the end of the tax season, and our volume is expected to be very high.  So it may take some patience.  If worried, you can file an extension if need be.
