Intuit can't find my 2021 tax return

I used TurboTax to file my 2020 taxes. On Sat, Mar 20, 2021, TurboTax sent me an email acknowledging the federal tax return was accepted by the IRS.

Now TurboTax says they don't have a record of my 2020 taxes.

I'm ready to file my 2021 taxes

What do I do?

Where can I see a history of my files taxes on TurboTax?

If you do not see your past year's tax return data, it might be in a different TurboTax account. You can check to see if you may have multiple Intuit accounts by following the steps in the below help article.

i have access right now to start to file online

You cannot file your 2021 tax returns online as the deadline for online filing expires toward the end of the year you are filing for. You can prepare it using TurboTax though and mail it in.

@ThomasM125 is absolutely correct, @Welcome51; you cannot begin a new 2021 return online at this point because that tax year is closed for the TurboTax online products.

For the 2021 tax year, you need to use a 2021 desktop product that must be installed on a computer.
