International Student (born/raised in USA) 1098 equivalent tax form for Scotland

Hello,

I am born and raised in the US and have filed taxes here multiple times. I am attending a one year masters program in Scotland and here for the holidays. I cannot find an equivalent 1098 form at my university for tax purposes to file in the US.

Do I not have to file taxes this season? Is there not equivalent form to claim the cost for education abroad? 

Any guidance would be welcomed, thank you.

I assume that you are not a dependent. You can get Lifetime Learning Credit if you attend an eligible educational institution and have the necessary requirements. See here:
