I sold a parcel of land years ago for which I took back a note for part of the purchase price.  The note holder has paid me a portion of the interest due.  How do I report that interest income.  There is no form 1099-INT.

You don't need Form 1099-INT, simply go to that section and enter the interest you received.

    Federal

    Wages & Income

    Investments and Savings

    Interest on 1099-INT     START

Select "Yes" and "Continue" and "Enter a different way" or "Skip import" to get to the "Investment Type" screen

    Select Interest 1099-INT

Select "I'll type it in myself"

Enter the information as if you had a 1099-INT
