Input of 1099-R information

Using desktop version [phone number removed] when trying to input retirement plans income under topic "Wages and Income", the software does not allow input of 1099-R information.  I see a note saying "Available soon".
When is this option going to be available? 

I bought the software now in November 2025 to be able to do tax planning for tax year 2025. I don't understand why incomplete software is sold.

Thank you for your reply. I tried and it seems I can enter information in forms view. However, I wonder if the the fact that input is not possible under the income topic, implies that calculations related to1099-R forms have not yet been updated for 2025.

You have a point; I would not assume it has been updated. However, I believe there are other parts of the program that have been updated for 2025 but have not been updated programmatically in terms of the interview.

@2025_taxes i would not worry about the form being updated.  There is nothing that changes the calculations from 2024.  The 1099-R is an input form; not a calculation itself. 

Also, if you are trying to estimate  your AGI for 2025, this website is quite accurate for that purpose:

I suspect at this point, you should get the same answer as using Forms View of Turbo Tax.  I did. 

Also, in may cases the forms are not considered "final" until the IRS reviews and certifies them.  The forms may be working correctly, but doesn't have the official IRS seal of approval yet.  It's not that the programming isn't complete.
