In Turbo Tax the W-2G form there is no selection option for Washington State in Box 13 , yet TT gives error because state is not included during review.

Supplier of W-2G has state amounts in boxes 14 and 16, payer ID is Federal ID, BUT there is no option for WA state in box 13 dropdown and appears to be required as TT throws errors upon review.  There is no state income tax in WA state. While I could leave boxes 13, 14 and 16 blank that is not how the W-2G is written out.  I am trying to avoid a rejection by IRS for incomplete or mismatch information on the form.  How to fix?

In Turbo Tax the W-2G form there is no selection option for Washington State in Box 13 , yet TT gives error because state is not included during review.

Nine states — AlaskaFloridaNevadaNew HampshireSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasWashington and Wyoming — have no state income taxes.

As your state, Washington has no state income tax, it is not in the drop down menu of Box 13 of form W-2G. Just leave boxes 14 and 16 blank even if WA is listed in box 13 and box 16 is filled with an amount on your form W-2G.
