im trying to file one of my 2022 w2s, but my box 15 says TX, my employer state id says 0, but then there is 2 lines of numerical values on my box 16, and so I am putting in the sum of those values into the box. This isnt allowing me to file. What do I do?

Texas doesn't have an income tax.  Leave boxes 15-17  BLANK, no spaces.   Don't understand why you have 2 rows for box 16.

Thank you, the top row on my box 16 has the numerical value from box 1, the bottom row has 0 flat. I see that on my other W2s, they have nothing in box 16. Does this extra information change any of your advice? Thank you so much again.

No.  Leave them all blank, empty.  TX does not have a state income tax.
