If you are referring to Online TurboTax (web browser version), the Online version is only for 2021 returns at this point in time.  You cannot prepare and file a 2020 return online.

So far your situation is not clear. You need to please explain that so we can understand.   What exactly did you pay for, and when did you pay for it--recently or last year? 

• Did you prepare and pay for a 2020 online return last year, but you never filed it?  And now do you want to file it?  Are you trying to find the 2020 online return?
• Or did you recently purchase 2020 desktop software (CD/download) to prepare a 2020 return, but mistakenly ended up in Online TurboTax  (which is only for 2021 returns) instead of using your desktop software purchase?

Once you explain your situation, someone can, hopefully, comment further in this thread today.
